About Me

Meet Helen Radice – Founder of ‘Birthing with eve’

Hi, I’m Helen — midwife, coach, and prenatal yoga teacher, here to hold space for you through pregnancy, birth, and the early parenting journey.

My story began during my own first pregnancy, feeling isolated and overwhelmed, until I discovered prenatal yoga — a space where I reconnected to my body, found community, and discovered a quiet strength I didn’t know I had.

That moment inspired my path into midwifery. Since 2005, I’ve supported thousands of families across pregnancy, birth, and postnatal care, and led system-level maternity transformation in the NHS — always with the same purpose: to centre the needs of women and birthing people.

After years in leadership, I felt a deep call to reconnect with practice — to return to the mat, to clinical care, to the heart of why I became a midwife. Birthing with Eve was born from this balance: where evidence-based midwifery meets mindful movement, restorative practice, and human connection.

I offer live pregnancy and postnatal yoga classes, private midwifery consultations, birth preparation workshops, and 1:1 coaching for new and becoming parents — all designed to help you feel strong, informed, and calm during life’s biggest transitions.

Eve — for beginnings.
Ease — for trust, flow, and grace.
Let’s journey together — with ease, with strength, and with heart.

Testimonials

Real words from those I’ve supported through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

At Birthing with Eve, the heart of everything I do is about holding space with care, confidence, and compassion. Here’s what some of the women and families I’ve worked with have shared about their experience:

"Hey helen, I just want to say a big thank you for everything you’ve done for me throughout my pregnancy. You’ve made me feel so much calmer and at ease as I really was stressed before hand due to everything that was going on with the hospital and also with my health. The weeks leading up to my delivery where it was a planned c section have been so smooth and I was able to prepare everything and get myself ready before he came. I honestly cannot thank you enough you’ve been amazing "

Aalyih, mother of 3

"When I decided to have a home birth, Helen was an incredible support, answering all my questions and helping to arrange my new midwife, Helen remained in touch, always available to take my calls, check in on me, and offer appointments and guidance. Her unwavering support, especially during the transition to a home birth, meant the world to me. Helen continued to support me postnatally, offering reassurance, advice, and care even after the birth. I feel so fortunate to have had such an amazing experience"

J, first time mum

"Helen, I wanted to tell you what a huge support it was to have you by my side during my pregnancy and in the first days of being a mum, as soon as we went to the workshop, I felt so much calmer and positive about giving birth. I felt you really got to know us and our needs and wishes. You’ve held my hand and encouraged me enormously. The breastfeeding support you’ve given me has been amazing and made such a difference, feeding on my side has been a revelation! Thank you so much!''

Liz and Keylor

"The fact that I look back at Aaron’s birth as a completely positive experience is entirely down to you. I can’t thank you enough and I will never forget how wonderful you were!''

Polly

"Thank you for looking after me throughout my entire pregnancy and even after the birth! You have been very efficient and provided great advice. As a first time mum, when I didn’t know what to expect, you ensured my pregnancy and birth was as smooth as possible.''
